With heartfelt gratitude,
After two years of tireless efforts, 254 hostages have returned home, yet the mission is not completed.
On October 7th, Master Sergeant Ran Gvili put on his police uniform and went out to protect others, despite being wounded. Since that day, his family has been waiting for his return.
In recent weeks, we witnessed a historic achievement with the return of all the hostages but 0ne. Now, only Ran is held captive in Gaza.

All efforts are now focused on one final act of shared responsibility and human solidarity. A fight for one person. For one hero.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum was established less than 24 hours after the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on October 7th, 2023.
It is a civilian, non-political organization, based on thousands of volunteers – families and friends of the hostages and the missing, and professionals from Israel and around the world - all united around one clear mission: bringing all 255 hostages home.
This has been the most powerful civilian struggle in Israel’s history.
With the support of people in Israel and across the world, 254 hostages have been returned - the living to begin their rehabilitation, and the fallen and murdered to be laid to rest with dignity in their homeland.
The mission is not yet complete.
Master Sergeant Ran Gvili, a member of the YASAM police elite counter-terror unit, a hero who was among the first to step forward and save lives, is the last hostage in captivity.
Now, all efforts are focused on one goal: securing his return.
We will not rest and we will not stop until Ran comes home.
