Luis Har was kidnapped from his home in Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak on October 7, and rescued in February 2024, after 129 days in captivity.
Though his heart is still healing, Luis chooses to hold on to hope - and to share it.
He invites us all to carry that hope close - for the return of the hostages, for peace, and for the creation of a powerful circle of optimism, resilience, and renewed joy.
The Hope Necklace was created through a heartfelt collaboration between Louis Har and jewelry designer Oria Tzahari, inspired by their shared vision behind the Hope Installation at Hostages Square.
Louis dreamed of a sculpture bearing the word "Hope", painted in the colors of childhood — to spread hope, light, and color.Hope – to give strength to the people of Israel and the families of the hostages.
Light – to shine goodness outward and catch the eye.
Color – to reconnect us with the pure, innocent child within.
Wear the Hope Necklace close to your heart - together, we carry hope for their return home.
